Strength and Flow

A dynamic yoga program

It’s always good to examine what the motivation for your yoga practice is. This program is for those who want to develop physical stamina and strength on their yogic path. It’s a dynamic program that is suitable for intermediate or advanced practitioners, with a strong foundation already established. Yu may find yourself wanting to go back and repeat a certain practice. Feel free to do this as the videos are designed that way.

Our advice as you dive in : watch your energy levels. If you find your practice becomes depleting, maybe back off and modify certain postures. The asana practice, when done correctly, should cultivate a feeling of vitality and clarity. Listen to your body, and adjust accordingly. You hold great wisdom within you. Also, it may be nice to add on to your asana practice. We love to begin with a Pranayama practice. For example, try doing Breath of Life and then move right into your more dynamic physical class. Maybe try to add some meditation on to the end of your asana practices. Here are some recommendations.
When you don’t have a lot of time : Ten Minute Meditation : Finding Silence
When you have a bit more time : Meditation on Twin Hearts
When you feel curious : Three Doors Meditation
