With more than 10 years of yoga practice, Kristin is founded in the Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition and Buddhist meditation. Kristin is certified yoga therapist, with teacher training (CE-approved) in Mindfulness (MBSR & MBCT) and Trauma Sensitive Yoga.

This is a longer and advanced version of the Gentle Playfulness practice. In this class you will start with a few minutes of breath work, turning your attention inwards, with an intention of compassion. From here you will take that intention into a playful and challenging asana practice, including headstands and backbends. You will close the practice with a short meditation on loving kindness.
Kristin will guide you through a short mindful meditation which includes some simple pranayama practices that will help you focus and relieve restlessness.This practice will help you connect to the here and now and can be used as a nice short practice on its own, or as a preparation of a longer practice.

A balanced practice that moves from meditation into a dynamic and powerful vinyasa flow. The practice gradually unwinds with a mindful yin sequence, and is great for internal balance, and cultivating harmony between the strength and surrender.
A mindfulness meditation, where you will observe the natural breath (anapansati) as well as all other inner movements of body, mind and emotions. Join this practice to develop a compassionate and non-critical mind.
This mindful yoga flow class that steadily builds its pace over the course of the practice. After a short meditation you will move into a sequence of standing postures and lunge poses. This is a warming practice great for purification and developing strength.

In the last 8 years Kristin has applied yoga and mindfulness in her clinical work, including developing specialized programs for both eating disorders and addictions within psychiatric treatment. Kristin is a curator of several projects, were the heart lies in sharing of teachings and experience, life enhancing practices, and facilitating meeting points for exchange. She is co-founder of Delight Yoga Schools (2008) in Amsterdam (Netherlands), and Bodø Yogafestival (2010) together with partner Wessel Paternotte. She is also the founder European Network for Yoga Therapy (2013).
Kristin gives courses, trainings, and talks in mindfulness, yoga, and its clinical application. She also gives consultations and leads process work within various organizations.
